Turn up the volume! ^-^

Five for fighting - 100 years

I'm 15 for a moment
Caught in between 10 and 20
And I'm just dreaming
Counting the ways to where you are
I'm 22 for a moment
She feels better than ever
And we're on fire
Making our way back from Mars
15 there's still time for you
Time to buy and time to lose
15, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got 100 years to live
I'm 33 for a moment
Still the man, but you see I'm a they
A kid on the way
A family on my mind
I'm 45 for a moment
The sea is high
And I'm heading into a crisis
Chasing the years of my life
15 there's still time for you
Time to buy, Time to lose yourself
Within a morning star
15 I'm all right with you
15, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got 100 years to live
Half time goes by
Suddenly you're wise
Another blink of an eye
67 is gone
The sun is getting high
We're moving on...
I'm 99 for a moment
Dying for just another moment
And I'm just dreaming
Counting the ways to where you are
15 there's still time for you
22 I feel her too
33 you're on your way
Every day's a new day...
15 there's still time for you
Time to buy and time to choose
Hey 15, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got 100 years to live

I have come to like this song alot.
Not just because of the music but mainly because of the meaningful lyrics.
It is tailored to make those, who pay attention to the words, think about their lives and the way they are living out their days with respect to how many years they have already gone through on this 3rd rock from the Sun.
Considering that i am no longer between 10 and 20...*darn it i'm growing old Xp*...i guess i have to be more aware of how important the small things in life are.
It always the small stuff that make life worth the living yah?
That Sunday morning sunrise.
The commercial on television, last night, that made you laugh.
The blanket that keeps you warm at night.
That breeze that cooled you when you were running your 2.4km for NAPHA.

Every time i hear songs which i like on the radio, i will turn up the volume and 'lose' myself in the the beauty of the melody and meaning which the song holds for me.
Just like poetry and movies/stories, music allows us to have a chance to escape our current reality and go to a private place where no one can touch us. The place where we can be free from the constraints of life and take flight...even if its just for a few minutes.
These windows which give us the opportunity to break-away are very important in this day and age where we are always on the run to get things done and in an efficient/productive manner.

I thank God for the life i live...truely i lead a charmed existence ^-^

I finally got down to doing my assignments.
Sadly i have no idea as to how i should go about doing my maths questions.
My brain fails to comprehend the meaning of the words and numbers which form the sentence...and resultant sentences which make up the whole paragraph of the question i read.
I know i have to understand the meaning of the question so that i can solve the problem...but i kinda go into 'stand-by' mode when i come to a question which involves partial differentiation with respect to a firm and the amount of goods which the boss would need to sell in order to make the most money...yes~ one day we will all need to know how much every diary comany in singapore makes in a year...wow...that makes me so much smarter~ -.-;;

Tomorrow's another day... at least i don have to go to school ...heeha~
Cheers!
